Hello everyone! I am newbie vegan that LOVES to cook (in fact, it is an obsession!), so I am trying to replace my current cookbook collection with some great vegan cookbooks- I already have 3 (The Kind Diet, Vegan Comfort Food, and Skinny Bitch), but I'm looking for more and also websites that have great recipes ideas etc..........Thanks for the help!

"Vegan with a Vengeance" & "Veganomicon" both by Isa Chandra Moskowitz...two of my favorites, besides TKD. I also like Tal Ronnen's "The Conscious Cook". I recently purchased Rip Esselstyn's "The Fire Engine 2 Diet" & love the Mac & Cheese recipe.....hope this helps....

Thanks! I just ended up ordering Vegan with a Vengence from Amazon, so glad to hear it is good.............I actually got The Conscious Cook from the library, but haven't made anything from it yet- never heard of the one by Rip Esselstyn, so I'll check that out too! Thanks!

I really like "Peas and Thank You." Everything I've made from that book has been met with joy by the omnis in my life.

I'm also an Isa Chandra fan- I love Appetite for Reduction (I love that it includes nutritional content), and my children love Vegan Cupcakes Take over the World. She also has a website that has recipes - The Post Punk Kitchen (theppk.com). Enjoy creating a new collection!

"Chloe's Kitchen" is a new vegan cookbook that came out in March 2012. Everything I have made from her cookbook is excellent, especially her entire 'Oodles of Noodles' section. The recipes are easy to do, usually pretty fast, and a lot of them are the recipes that you should serve your non-vegan friends.

It's not a superhero cookbook, but I am happy being vegan at this point. I especially love her 'avocado pesto pasta' and the 'fettuccine alfredo.' I have taken the alfredo recipe and made it into several different types of dinners from sundried tomato alfredo to Vegan Wallhalla Pasta (from Outback Steakhouse lol). She also has a website which lists several of her recipes.

Chloe won the "Cupcake Wars" with a vegan cupcake that she features in the book. I made these for a party and they were a huge hit!

Chloe's website is: www.chefchloe.com

I really like the book Vegan Planet by Robin Robertson. The recipes are really yummy and simple. And there are a wide range of different types of food.
