Does DevaCurl test on animals? DevaCurl has never, and will never, conduct animal testing. No DevaCurl product contains any animal derived ingredients.
So Deva is probably vegan, but I'd suggestion double-checking ingredients just in case.
As for Bare Minerals, you'll also need to check ingredients. Many of the powders are vegan but many of the other cosmetics (non-powders, such as lip liner and lipstick) are not due to ingredients such as beeswax and carmine.
I'd be happy to help with recommendations if you're interested in any other products, but I'd need a few more details on what types of products you're looking for (foundation, hair spray, etc.).
oh wow thank you sooo much! you know the more I find out about things the more worried I am about what Im using on my family as well. :) Im trying to find a line of kid friendly shampoos and soaps that are vegan as well. maybe you or someone else here nkows where to start.
The baby and kids sections in health food stores are a great place to start. Some of my personal favorite lines for kids include Enfusia's line Cocoon Baby. You could also try soaps such as Dr. Bronner's mild baby bar soap; this line is more widely available. When I first started, I found products at the health food stores but sometimes I could find them cheaper at superstores or drugstores once I knew what I wanted.
Best of luck!
