I think I just made an impact on someone, after I became vegan I started telling people about how seemingly innocent actions impact our environment. Seeing the effort I put into making my own food (vegan options are just rare here)and the switch from buying everyday products to making my own eco-friendly version, those little things may have opened up his mind that I am doing this not for vanity. He gave me 2690 sq.ft. of land to build a eco friendly house, that will serve as my home and office for the foundation I am thinking of opening. I am thinking of using 500sq.ft. as an eco house, and the rest for gardening of veggies, fruits and fruit bearing trees and a small barn like room for demos on how to make eco friendly household cleaners and sustainable living seminars for those who have no access to internet and materials. to provide eco friendly livelihood to individuals thus reducing impact on the environment and reducing unemployment rate. I am now looking for like minded individuals who would like to invest on my vision and dream. help me help people.

HI Darla that sounds wonderful where is your location? You may want to team up with non-profit organizations and get tax write off donations from local companies that share your vision that may be the best way to do it. I tried to find "investors" to open my RAW STAR Cafe in Santa Monica, CA but ended up just meeting people that wanted a free book or free raw organic vegan food and they didn't invest and wasted a lot of my time and energy so through this "process" I was able to discover restaurants that either set up as a Non Profit organization or teamed up with some and they were able to get tax write off donations from both people and major companies or get grants and were able to do what they wanted to but also benefiting and contributing back the community. I wanted to share this information as it might help you to accomplish your non profit community goals as well. I also was lucky enough to meet a Fundraising Expert here in Los Angeles and there should be some in your area. If you can put together a Fundraising Event on your property that would be even better so people can share your vision and I hope my info helped! Trying to find investors in today's economy is virtually impossible as people are all struggling economically and you don't want to become frustrated or waste time like I did!

At my RAW STAR Cafe I will train At Risk Youth and Homeless Youth in Los Angeles in a 10 week Raw Organic Vegan Chef training course then upon completion and graduation they have the option of being hired and work a paid position at RAW STAR Cafe which is also the training facility. If people can help, find donations, etc. please contact me at: rawbryan@hotmail.com

All the best,
Chef Bryan Au
