Vegan Cream Tea

My mum is having a English cream tea for her friends on her birthday and has said she would like to make a lot of it vegan so that I can enjoy as well (bless her!). Does anyone have any good ideas/recipes for scones / delicate sadwiches / mini cakes. I have to admit - I'm still relatively new to baking, so any help would be appreciated!

I would go to Post Punk Kitchen and look at her cupcakes/muffins etc. Also if you have her book Vegan with a Vengence then the carrot cake in that is great.
