I went to the vet and my 3 month old puppy has a bacterial infection. They gave me an antibiotic, but I was wondering if it will clear up without giving her the antibiotics (which will kill the good as well as the bad bacteria)? She is puking some and has some diarrhea. Please help, thanks!!!

I would def give my pup meds!!! A bacterial infection (unlike viral) responds to antibiotics and it would be neglectful if you didn't give it since it could potentially worsen your pup's condition or even be life threatening (esp if the vomitting and diarrahea lead to dehydration). What would be the point in going to a vet if you didn't want treatment?!

I can understand not giving antibiotics when they are not necessary (and I will usually ask the vet this to avoid overmedicating)--but when there is an infection, antibiotics aren't harmful.
