Last week I purchased cane sugar labeled "Vegan" on the package. Ever since I have found out that not all sugar is vegan I have decided that I need to prepare alot of my own culinary creations. The idea that not all sugar is vegan struck me directly in the heart. I love every topic about veganism from physical effects to mental clarity Veganism just gives me the EXTRA UMPH in like feel better about everything-physically and mentally. Veganism is close to my heart so if anyone has their own expierences with vegan sugar, cooking tips or types for recommendation that would be wonderful!
What do you know about vegan sugar? Are you strict about your vegan sugar intake?
Today or tomorrow I'm off to the nursury to buy a Rosemary plant to make my own vegan version of those Rosemay nuts from 'Trader Joes'. When I found out that sugar is not vegan these were the 2nd this that I taught of. So, gladly I'll make my own foods that use sugar. After all it is better for the mind body and soul to prepare one's own food b/c it is done with love, thaught and consideration.
The third food item I thaught of was my Soy Nut Butter. So, I'm also sprouting my own edamame to make roasted soy nuts so I can have my own sprouted homemade Vegan insured soy nut butter. I'll use Raw USDA Organic agave or the vegan cane sugar that I purchased at "Whole Foods". I just looooove soy nut butter especially with organic bananas.
The fourth food I taught about is vegan Salad Dressings...if anyone has some great recipes that would be wonderful! I thaught that Gluten Free and Vegan dressings might have some sugar added so if anyone has a vegan homemade salad dressing you would like to share, that would be great!
Thanks!
Julie
