Pimple solutions

Hey!!
So let me start by saying that I have never had problem skin. I used to (and still do) use Proactiv as a solution to my pimples, and have always been very clear (with the odd pimple at those special times of the month). Now that I have changed my diet, I definitely notice that my skin and eyes are brighter, but I have started to have breakouts. :(
It seemed to clear up at about a month into being vegan, and now it is a little bad around my nose and upper lip, with a little on my chin and forehead. I have never had this before.
As I said, I am still using Proactiv. Do you think that it is because my diet is changing that the product is working differently with my skin composition? It is working against me now?
What products do you all use that you find is great and natural for clear skin?
Thanks!!
Catherine
First of all, what is your skin type? Oily and acne prone? Dry? That is the starting point.
I have experimented with a lot of natural and organic oils.Right now I am using Jojoba Oil.I've got oily and acne prone skin, but so far the Jojoba is working well for me.I'd drop the Proactiv and use something organic.Argan oil is very calming and moisturizing, good for dry skin,as is coconut oil.You may want to go and get samples before buying oils, that's what I did with the Jojoba yesterday.I used it last night and this morning and my skin is really responding well.
How "clean" is your diet? That definitely affects your skin as well.Clear out the processed foods, flours, baked goods, cereals.Have some good quality fats such as avocado and extra virgin olive,a lot of water and vegetables.I was vegan, but due to a lot of health issues I've started eating wild salmon, and my skin totally blossomed, starting to glow, within a few days.
Good lucy, hope it goes well! be patient and loving to your face!
