Hi Everyone! I was surfing the web and came about this forum... there are a lot of really cool insights and helpful tips so I knew I had to join!
I look forward to starting a healthier diet and was wondering if any of you had any tips on how to start? Should I just get rid of all the not healthy food at once?
Look forward to hearing back!
Hi there, that's great you found this site! My tip would be to read The Kind Diet, it's a great resource and not in your face or pushy. Other than that, read any other books you can find on veganism ... I am reading The China Study at the moment which is amazingly interesting. Blogs are also my favourite go to for healthy recipes, motivation and ideas. I follow Oh She Glows, Post Punk Kitchen (her recipe books are great), The Wellness Warrior, Little House of Veggies plus a load more ... I can't stop finding new blogs. Maybe watch Vegucated? That's a really good film. In terms of food in your house ... it's up to you if you want to go slowly and replace as you finish or give away what you don't want anymore to relatives etc so it's not wasted. Good luck!!! Kirsty
Hi Kirsty! Thank you so much for all of your help! I have already taken a look at those blogs you mentioned and there are some great recipes in there!!! I decided to give some of the food away... was too excited to start this new diet and its going great so far :)

I would recomend watching Forks over Knives. I am reading Main Street Vegan right now and love it! Can't wait to see Vegucated looks like it releases on Netflix soon.
You're welcome! Have fun with it all. : )
I really thought Vegucated was a good film, great to show friends/relatives too.
