My very good friend just moved in with her boyfriend. She has a really aggressive dog, and she's been working with a trainer for over a year to improve his behavior. He has come a really long way, but now he is living in a house with her boyfriend's cat. They've been trying to keep them separated, but last night the cat got into the kitchen while the dog was out and he attacked her. She has a broken leg, but otherwise ok. The situation is putting so much stress on my friend, and I know if she can't keep the dog he will likely end up being put down. Have any of you experienced a similar situation? Does anyone have any suggestions? This dog is a total sweetheart, he just has problems with aggression toward other animals.
