Hey ya'll,

My name is Ayelet, but I go by Alie. I'm American and Israeli, raised in Virginia, but now living in Jerusalem. Obviously I'm vegan, and I live with a non-vegan roommate, (however she has consented to give veganism a shot for 30 days!!) and my sidekick and best friend, Phoebe. Phoebe is a rescue dog that I adopted from the JSPCA here in Jerusalem. Maybe you read about them-- there was a recent post about the organization in the "Action Alerts". I know a few other vegans and vegetarians in my area, but I do get a bit lonely all the way across the globe. So if there are any other vegheads in my area code, PLEASE REACH OUT!!
