I am fresh into my first day of eating the Superhero Diet and I was hoping there might be some words of wisdom floating around that might be of assistance. I am 27, single, and have a bit of a crazy life. I'm an art student and work at a restaurant during the evening, sometimes quite late evening. Is there an easy way for me to approach the meal planning and/or preparation? I don't want to find my self slipping up due to lack of planning or time management.
I just recently did a 3 month raw cleanse with my friend, and she was paying me to make all of her meals for her. I sat down one day when I had a bit of time and went through cook books and made up 4 different weekly meal plans including of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a snack. And then I would rotate the meal plans each week so that it was always different and I didnt have to sit down for an hour each week to figure it out.
As for grocery shopping and food prep, I would shop for the week on sundays, and when I got home I would wash and cut up veggies as I was putting them away (then you can just pull them out of the fridge and they are ready to go) And when you are making food, make big batches and then you can freeze it in individual portions and just pull it out of the freezer and go.
Other than that, the longer that you eat this way, the easier things will get and it wont be so challenging.
