Hi guys,

I am trying to find a pair of vegan boots for riding/working. The only ones that I've been able to find are all made of leather. Ackkkkk and Ickkkkk! When I did a google search a pair of motorcycle riding boots came up. Not what i was looking for...

Hi Tammy,
Galo Shoes in New York carries a great selection of Vegan products. The shoes are made from sustainable materials and man-made synthetics and surprisingly, the majority of the collection is still made in Italy!
You can see the selection here:

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Katrina,

I took a look at the Galo website, and they didn't have riding boots. The only boots they had looked like rain boots. But thank you for the suggestion.

Does anyone know where I can find a comfy pair of vegan riding boots? Thanks.

Tammy - I ran across these, but in terms of actual use for riding, I'm not sure (my sister is the horse person in the family) - http://www.veganchic.com/products/Lug-Over-the-Knee-Vegan-Riding-Boot+80031-0015.html. They may not be the best, I'll let you know if I run across anything that looks more useful! Good luck!

Hi Tammy,
I just started a vegan shoe blog because I also have trouble finding cute shoes & boots that aren't leather. I'll be featuring lots of riding boots and other winter shoes as it cools down. The site is www.thegoodfashionista.com - hopefully you'll see something you like!

I'm not sure about riding boots if you mean for horseback riding but thechocolateshoebox.com has a wide variety of boots right now from ankle high to knee high. I bought a pair in the shop a few weeks ago but they aren't on the site and they are ankle high, super cute though!

Me too! To make matters worse, my entire family (hubs, two teen daughters and one teen son) are moving to Belgium for military orders. We need shoes that have support to deal with the streets of Europe, are sturdy enough to not fall apart, and no microsuede...they need to be waterproof as the country has 200 days of rain per year. I am so frustrated and don't know where to start.

‘Beautiful You!` join our Vegan raw cuisine, high tea & fashion show case in London. “I always loved the nostalgic British tradition of high tea it originated in the 1800, as a social event for the upper classes. Afternoon tea was accompanied by luxury new ingredient of that time. ‘Beautiful You!’ Is inspired by this English tradition. The vegan raw cuisine high tea served on the day reflects my love for this British tradition plus an opportunity to discover the deliciousness of innovative raw vegan recipes. I see vegan raw food as a healthy modern and luxury way of eating. A bit like cucumber, sugar and tea was at the time.”

We have created this innovative event as intimate exclusive showcase hosted by fashion designer Ivana Basilotta www.ivanabasilotta.co.uk. It reflects a beautiful way of life in London, the British tradition of High Tea. Innovative fashion & food plus charity fund raising for Ivana’s favoured charity ROKPA www.rokpa.org . The high tea menu is designed by www.42RAW.co.uk. Head Chef Katarzyna and fashion designer Ivana Basilotta will share their beauty secrets of eating raw and models will walk Ivana’s new one off designs for the summer . RSVP £ 35.00 per person, limited seating available. to book Contact Home House London : Sonia or Victoria on 020 7670 2000.
