I need to pack a vegan lunch for the plane that doesn't need to be kept cold. I am planning on a pb&j with chips and fruit. If you have any other suggestions please let me know...

A handful of nuts is always handy I think as they also have a way of keeping hunger at bay for quite a while for being so small. Maybe you could make some healthy/yummy cookies or something like that and take some herbal teabags of what you like to drink with you in case they don't have any on board. Finally ... if you're after something sweet, some vegan chocolate would always fit in your bag.

Did you remember to request a vegan option on your flight as well? I've heard some airlines are terrible but some are okay. It's worth requesting anyhow as the more people that ask for it, the better they'll get at it.
