Hi!
I am only barely a flirt, but I read Alicia's book in a matter of days, and I love it! I was vegetarian in my rebellious teenage years for about 4 years, but lost intrest in it.
So I read Alicia's book, and I saw that Alicia reccommended Dr. Neal Barnard. So I read his book too! And now I'm getting ready for my 21-day vegan kickstart! (Check out their website and sign up if you're ready to make the transition, and you'll receive a daily newsletter with tips, nutritional help and recipies!!)
So since deciding, I've been browsing this website to see how all of you handle your carnivore partners. I live with my boyfriend, he loves his meat, and he doesn't strike me as going vegan any time soon (or any time at all, really).
But he was SO sweet yesterday, and I don't know who in my life I can tell who can relate, so I'm posting it here instead!
He said he was talking to his mum and brother (I was like "oh no, here we go, they're gonna think I'm a radical hippie now!"), and he said his brother had asked quite a few questings and stuff, and my dear man had just replied that he doesn't mind at all! He loves healthy food, he will eat whatever I cook, and he supports me fully.
We never really had the "let's go vegan"-convo, but appearantly he had it with his brother!
I'm so happy!
By the way, link to 21-day Vegan Kickstart for any flirts ready to make a change! http://www.facebook.com/21DayKickstart

Lots of love from Norway :)
