The Farm Sanctuary Walk

I'm curious if anybody is doing the walk for the Farm Sanctuary this year? http://www.walkforfarmanimals.org/
This will be my first time participating. I am doing the Buffalo walk located in Orchard Park, New York.
I encourage people from Western New York to visit the site, locate the Buffalo team and sign up and register for the walk.
If you'd like you can also support my walk by visiting: http://events.walkforfarmanimals.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donordrive.participant&participantID=8444
That's my late dog Erin, a rescue, in the photo for my profile<3
YOU can start a team in your own city if you don't see one listed. The Buffalo walk is on 9/29. I went to start a walk for my city and saw somebody else already had! I bet somebody has one near you too.
This is the Farm's regular website http://www.farmsanctuary.org/. In December I read Gene Baur's book Farm Sanctuary: Changing Hearts and Minds About Animals and Food by purchasing a used copy on amazon, and the stories about the rescued farm animals, farm animals who lost their lives, legal battles and so on were touching and also dark and very sad, but very inspiring and at times uplifting too! I encourage everybody to read this book or at least check out their site for information. They have several sanctuaries and are the largest in North America. They have two locations in California and one in Watkins Glen, New York(Finger Lakes Region and not too far from me!).
It would be lovely if you decided to donate, do a virtual walk(meaning you can't actually go and participate in the walk in your city but you can donate $10 online and "virtual" walk), start a walk, join a walk, or donate to me via the link I provided
here it is again in case this is too cluttered

Thanks for your time and I would love to read comments from those who are already registered for their city's walk, or have any other questions or wanna talk about the farm sanctuary!
PS. Has anybody ever stayed at the Farm's b&b?
