Macrobiotic

Has anyone tried individual counseling with a macrobiotic counselor? I read a book about macrobiotics after learning about it in "The Kind Diet."
Alicia mentions it in her book that she did this - did she do this only temporary? I would like to learn more about it and appreciate everyone's info.

Me Too!! I went online yesterday and did some research on macrobiotic counselors in my area. To no surprise there are none, but then thought maybe I could find one who would do a session online. That's all the further I got yesterday, so anxious to read your responses!

I found out that the Kushi Institute does counseling via skype for approximately $375. I am tempted to try, but before paying would have liked some input from others who have tried.
I noticed that some Alicia's recipes and snack ideas don't go with what's written in the microbiotic book so I was wondering if it's something people do temporary to get over an illness, acne, etc.? I am confused :-) At least I know I'm not alone!

Hi holyjo, never received any responses from anybody else. The Kushi Institute is on FB as well but not many review there either so I am hesitant to spend $$$ before hearing other people's reviews about it.
