Hello Everyone,
My name is Elle and I just signed up with The Kind Life. I am so excited to embark on this new journey...towards becoming a vegan. My dear husband loves having meat at every meal, but my ten year old daughter is very open to becoming a vegan with me.
All three of us feel run down all the time and I know it's due to our "meal lifestyle". When I was single I ate very little meat and felt good, but I want to feel great. I know I am long overdue for a change.I hope once my hubby sees the difference in my daughter and myself, he will be on board.
Next month I'll be studying to become a Holistic Health and Wellness Coach and I am very stoked about this. I have always been into nutrition and feel ashamed to have let myself succombe to this lifestyle.
I created a holistic blog where I will share recipes and journal my progress, just another tool to keep me on the right track.
Hi Elle, have fun switching to vegan, you'll feel fantastic! That sounds exciting re the coaching too ... good luck ... Kirsty
Hi Elle!
I just became a member of this site and starting looking at the forum discussions. I stumbled upon your greeting and feel like we have a lot of things in common! My husband is very much a meat eater but I still want to become a vegan. I'm ready for a complete transition and love the idea of doing it holistically. I've also been wanting to become a Holistic Health and Wellness Coach and have thought about doing it through IIN. If you have any pointers or suggestions about sticking to a vegan diet with a husband who still eats meat, I'd appreciate it!

Hi Elle! Congrats on switching to a vegan lifestyle. You'll soon start to feel great from all the fresh, whole food you'll be eating. I too have a husband who still eats meat, however he has been extremely supportive of my vegan lifestyle. He's also very open to trying some of my vegan food (fake chicken to name one he LOVES!) I will say it's hard seeing the wonderful benefits a vegan lifestyle can have yet your spouse still continues to eat "nasty" foods, even though he knows it's bad. For that I say stick with your beliefs and to your diet and eventually (at least I'm hoping with my hubby) they'll come around to seeing how being vegan is the right choice. Good luck in your journey and if you are ever looking for neat recipes here's a few vegan recipe sites I use that have a lot of yummy recipes to try.
