Hey ladies,
I recently found this book on Amazon, and started reading it. It is so amazing and at the same time makes me really sad that we are not taught any of this incredible information in school or from our mothers (because they weren't taught either)! I implore all women to read this book and share it with your girlfriends. If knowledge is power, this book is Superman.
Perhaps it can be a Book Club selection... :)
Taking Charge of Your Fertility
by Toni Weschler
Sounds nice! I don't use contraceptive pills because I don't want to contribute to the pollution of the environment with extra hormones and I repell at the thought of using a medicine when it's not life sustaining. I use the Billing ovulation method and it's great. Is it perhaps the same method? In fact, women for thousands of years have used this method, no matter what you call it! :D I really recommend it.
I haven't heard of the Billing ovulation method. I'm definitely going to look it up! I finally got off the pill about 4 months ago. I know I stayed on it much longer than I should have, but am so happy to have all that toxicity finally making its way out of my body. Now I am trying to learn all I can about our bodies, our reproductive system, fertility and natural contraception. Thanks for your suggestion. It is probably similar to what is described in the book. What amazing bodies we have! :)
