With the new reports about the arsenic levels in rice being so high, are you guys eating less rice? Have you found a certain rice or way to prepare it that has less arsenic? One of my favorite things to make for dinner is a simple rice bowl, with veggies and a protein. I haven't been making it because I am nervous about the arsenic. Now also, I am pregnant and have been extra worried about passing it along to the baby.

I'd love to hear what you guys think and if you have any suggestions.

well thats totally terrifying.

i found this chart online: http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/magazine/2012/11/arsenic-in-your-food/index.htm#chart

maybe this can help you choose one that how lower amounts.
I read that arsenic is naturally present in soil and acts similar to silica in the way it help rice grow.

but maybe replacing rice with a different whole grain would be wise until there's an answer to this poison rice problem.
