Hi!
I need some help with ideas. I am attending a community function and I will be the only vegan there. The community leader is bringing something like BBQ chicken or fried chicken, she hasn't locked in but it sounds like I won't be eating it. I offered that I am vegan and would like to bring something as well. She was very receptive but now I am not sure what to bring! I am used to cooking hot and spicy ethnic things for myself but I know that is not going to be appropriate. I thought maybe an appetizer or two, maybe one with Daiya cheese. Any thoughts or suggestions? I just lent my Kind Life book to someone so I cannot flip through it. Any ideas are welcome.
Thanks!

"Guy Fieri's 4-Bean Relish" is so good & incredibly easy to put together...no cooking either. Just google it & you'll find the recipe online. A coleslaw, green or potato salad (using Vegenaise, of course) would be appreciated by all. Cookies are always a hit & Alicia's oatmeal recipe was shared on an Oprah show 2 yrs ago...google "Oprah Alicia silverstone recipes". I'd focus on foods that look familiar to everyone so they'll be enjoyed by all, hope this helps.
