Tivoli Gardens cooperate with the controversial (to say the least) company Kopenhagen Fur and thus support the extremely cruel Danish fur industry whose greatest turnover comes from mink and fox furs - both animals have long been known to suffer extensively by being held ind gages - this does not bother Kopenhagen Fur.
When Tivolis Facebook fans then wrote about their disdain for the cooperation on the gardens' Facebook page the respons from Tivoli's communications department was to make new "house rules" about what's all right to write on the Tivoli Facebook page. Some might call that censorship - Tivoli calls it "Closing the discussion".
As a part of the cooperation Tivoli has planned to "wrap" the famous Hotel Nimb in the centre of the gardens in fur meaning all pillows furniture, walls, coffee pots - you name it. Don't visit Tivoli gardens in Copenhagen, Denmark. It's not fun, it's romantic, it's not a historical journey, it's cruelty. - Please let others know. Thank you from Lone in Denmark.
