I am fit and full of energy. I don't go to the gym but I am active with my daughter and my weight stays stable and I am 42. I make sure we eat a wide variety of food and have our own garden. We have 3 rescue pooches and visit all kinds of animals so she can learn that they are special and part of our world. I want her to understand why we choose vegan and why it is important in the larger picture.
One of the difficult things to understand is parents teaching their kids to love animals by having pets and also going to petting zoos and then feeding them the very same animals at lunch and the kids have no idea. SAD

I think vegans in general tend to want to understand where things are coming from and if the process is worth the result. did anyone or anything suffer and why and how can we minimize that for people and animals.
