A superhero follows a macrobiotic diet, which avoids processed foods and animal products. It also incorporates local, indigenous fruits and vegetables to better serve your body what it needs. For example, if you live in the Midwest, consuming oranges in winter would not follow a macrobiotic diet. That's just a very basic overview of macrobiotics, but you can read more about it in Alicia's book! :)

I would like to try my own version of the superhero diet, since I live in Sweden I will try to only use locally produced greens! Rice and quiona and stuff I will have to buy from the other side of the world ( a lot of carbon emissions) but there are a lot of grains grown here as well :D It's quite inspiring, there are a lot of berries in the forest during summer, I could also pick a lot of plants grown in the wild and use a lot of root vegetables. Sounds good, doesn't it?
