Hi all.

I've been wanting to try kombucha, but I am, to be honest, afraid. Do you drink it? I am insulin resistant and prone to yeast infections, so would kombucha be good for me? I went to my local store the other day and picked up a Reed's Culture Club kombucha drink, and it was yummy. But I want to eventually not have to get flavored kombucha beverage, just kombucha itself. Baby steps. lol Has anyone here had great effects from it? Skin? Digestion? Any thoughts at all are appreciated. :)

I've never tried kombucha unflavored, but I really love GT's organic raw kombucha gingerberry flavor! If I have a headache or a cold or anything, it just goes away after drinking half the bottle. The probiotics are amazing for digestion and just give you an overall feeling of internal calm. I do believe it eases anxiety too, at least for me when I drink it!

all of the above it's great. I watched a bunch of utube videos and am now making my own. It's easy. My 2 gallon batch is almost done. I am excited. Even though it is made with caffeine it doen't affect u like caffeine. I am pretty much intolerant to caffeine. It's not like that it really relaxes you. We need some sort of fermented food or beverage everyday. It's good yeast so it will fight off the bad yeast. Like super charged yogurt, except of course without the dairy. Lol
