I am very excited to start my new life as a vegan however i am nervous about liking the taste of my new food. I ha e never been a veegie fan. Any suggestions to help me while my tastebuds adjust?
What is it about veggies that you don't like? The taste? The texture? Borrow some cookbooks from your local library and just start trying new recipes. If you like ethnic foods Indian food is a great place to start because many of their recipes are naturally vegan or can easily be adapted. Another great book I use is called The Mediterranean Vegan Cookbook. All of the recipes are naturally vegan and are delicious! You can also blend up a variety of vegetables and add them to a tomato pasta sauce or soups to make sure you care getting those important nutrients into your diet. Hope those suggestions help!
I like vegies but sometimes i get really sick of them so what i do is blend a couple handfuls of greens in water and add water vegies i have that are getting old and a half of banana for sweetness. Also try new vegies you never eat. As your taste buds change you'll find that u like more things that u used to not like.
