My daughter is nine and all of her little friends wear Ugg Boots. Since becoming vegan three years ago, she refuses to wear any type of shoes or boots made from any animal. I am so proud of her for being so young, not following the crowd and sticking with what she beleives in. But the problem is that I cannot find a good pair of Vegan boots for children that do not either look cheap or fall apart after a few months. I did find one company that had a great boot but was $345.00 for a pair of kid boots! Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks Linda
You might want to try Cotton On, which is an Australian store that's branching out to the U.S. I used to live in Australia and remembered seeing lots of faux Uggs there. I just took a quick look at their website and it seems like these are probably entirely synthetic, although you might want to call to confirm: http://shop.cottonon.com/shop/product/homer-homeboot-tan-2/
If you are ever searching for more vegan shoes, you should check out my vegan shoe blog! It's www.thegoodfashionista.com
You should be very proud of your daughter :)
