Do your research on everything! I thought I was going to do things just like my family had for generations, now I'm the complete opposite of where I thought I would be, because I am now educated.

Also, speak up! NEVER be afraid to ask or speak up for your child. You are their only voice and protector. Something that took me almost a year to realize.

1. You should be proud to be a pregnant vegan, not afraid (of judgement, of not getting enough calories, etc.) -- as long as you...

2. Educate yourself (about nutrition -- and everything else).
