If I do get a zit, I put a little dessert essence tea tree oil on it with a q-tip. It's quite stinky and strong so a little goes a long way.4444444
water. drink it. in the morning i use a washcloth and warm water to wipe my face gently. if you cleansed your face the night before well and moisturized, you really only need to wipe down minimally. keep it simple and gentle.
Wash with lukewarm water and when applying creams and serums (organic and eco/animal friendly, of course!), start with the lightest consistancy to the heaviest - acne solutions, serums, then moisturzing lotion and/or cream. And let it absorb for about 10-15 minutes. I usually make tea and by the time that is steeping, it's time to apply makeup! Less is more, so it allows skin to breathe. And always remove all makeup before bed! I used to have terrible skin and once I stuck to a routine, it's helped my skin feel balanced.
wash your makeup off each night, drink a lot of water
I use a Clarisonic brush every day. It is the best use of two minutes of my time and has helped keep my skin healthy.
A clean and healthy diet leads to clean and health skin. Never sleep in your makeup (use a gentle, non-toxic cleanser like Juice Beauty) and layer skincare products (serum then moisturizer) to help seal in the goodness!
I have oily skin and instead of washing 2x a day with cleaner, I only do so at night, which was a big shift for me. In the morning I splash my face with water, cleanse with witch hazel, and then put on a moisturizer. That's it. I save the heavy cleanser for evening when my face actually is dirty. It seems to help clear up breakouts for me. A great tip I learned from my skin care provider.
I always apply my moisturizers to moist skin for better absorption. And vegan makes my skin pure and glory!
Activated Charcoal mask. Crazy good. Pulls out all of the toxins from your pores and is cheap when you buy activated charcoal tablets!
