i use the burt bees naturals cleanser every morning and night.
other then that I just use cold water to lightly refreshen my skin whenever it feels like it needs a little wake up.
ive been lucky to use light cleansers and have had no need to try anything to harsh.
Wake up in the morning with a FABULOUS attitude first! Next, with my eco-friendly wash cloth, I wet my face with warm water. I use pure Black Soap to cleanse. Next, I use an all natural toner followed by a moisterizer (unfortunately, it is not vegan-natural, which is why i'd love for you-Alicia to select me to win your product!). After that, I'm prepared to put my powder make-up on! **and I'm doing this while drinking jasmine tea**
my best skin care tip comes from what you eat. a clean kind diet makes your skin glow.
Don't feel like you need to use a ton of products. Use minimal things and your skin can really take care of itself!
remember to remove your makeup before going to sleep...or better yet, try going without make up!
My best skincare advice would be, "be gentle." I know that sounds vague, but in my teens and 20s I was so rough with my skin, and I did some damage that now I am trying to repair. My daughter is 15 and experiencing acne, and I have to say it every day, "be gentle" to your skin. My mom is nearly 60 and she looks amazing, and she says her secret is that she is very careful, especially with the skin around her eyes. Also, hydrate! Lots of water.
drink LOTS of water :D simple, but effective
Invest in a reusable oil blotter.
Vegan formula Biotin capsules once a day and Fresh Soy Face Cleanser in the shower- I swear by it! Also, very light mineral makeup and eating like a Superhero at least 3 days a week have done wonders for me, as well!
I believe that the more natural and raw the product the better for you skin. Our skin is our largest organ so it's important to protect it. It's extremely important to exfoliate and I have an awesome recipe for an exfoliant you can make easily at home using oatmeal. Oatmeal is incredibly gentle and healing - it's actually known for soothing acne and sunburn. Obviously be extra gentle when you scrub if you have any kind of skin irritation. Combine 1 tablespoon of ground oatmeal with a 1/4 teaspoon of salt. The salt boosts the exfoliation process (I like to use Himalayan sea salt). Combine oatmeal and salt with either 1 teaspoon of water, 1 teaspoon of olive oil or 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. I like to switch it up from time to time depending on how my skin feels - coconut oil it a natural antibiotic and super healing so it's great to use on sensitive skin. Please use only organic, natural and if possible raw ingredients. Mix Ingredients until they form a paste.
Gentle rub into your skin in circular motions - if you have time let it sit on your skin for 10 minutes and then rinse.
Voila - clean skin as smooth as a baby's bottom.
So important to exfoliate - best way to maintain healthy skin and exfoliating 2-3 times per week will also help to heal trouble skin. Just be gentle and listen to your body.
