Hi. So I'm vegan newbie, and I'm realizing either I'm over eating , or getting waaayyy full way fast. What's the scoops, troops? Did this happen to you when you first started out as a vegan. I'll eat a quinoa kale salad, and some veggies and I'm like " is it possible that I'm actually DONE???!" The alarm bells go off, and I'm thinking get those calories in, don't want to under eat.. but .... I'm full :( lol I'm so happy with all of the food I've been making, from the tofu, to the squash, the soups, grains, etc. I'm so happy. ( As a foodie, I cannot stress this enough, cough ) But how did you find the happy balance between getting full really fast and making sure you got in enough calories and stuff? ( Being vegan also makes me rhyme for some reason , hm )
I went through the same thing. It just takes awhile to adjust. The best advice I ever got was listen to your body. If you're like me your life is so packed with things to do that you rush through meals. Take your time and you will notice you get full as fast.
