I want to make Miso soup, and was thinking of doing it in the good old slow cooker, but I was wondering if anyone has tried it yet?
I know there are specific guidelines on cooking miso, not to boil it and so on.
Wondering if cooking it in the slow cooker would kill the benefits of the Miso because you cant control the speed/heat aspect as much.

You can try cooking the vegetables and other ingredients in just water, and then after it's done to your liking, turn off the heat and stir in the miso and enjoy! This works in normal stove-top cooking too.
