Hello! I read in an email from'The Kind Diet' how Alicia went to a macrobiotic diet. I'm not sure if she 'tried' it or kept it. But I was wanting to know what it is? How is it any different from say vegetarian? Thanks.

It's different mainly in that in a macrobiotic diet your main food is grains, with vegetables being a supplement. Usually, vegetarians prepare their dishes with veggies as the main food and grains as the supplement. I wouldn't dare speak for Alicia, but from I understand about her "Superhero" plan, it's macrobiotic and vegan put together, so I would assume that means she still does it. I've been eating a vegan diet for about a year now and am interested in finding out more about the macrobiotic system myself.
