Hi all, I'm preparing my psyche and my pantry for the shift to mostly-vegan. (Like, totally vegan at home, but if I go out I won't ask any many questions about what they use for a binder in their black bean patties.) I'm lucky in that my older sister has been a vegetarian since 1986 and a vegan for at least the last decade, but I don't want to bug her for every little question. So I'm grateful to Alicia for starting this site!
That's what i do. At home and where i can control it, i eat totally vegan but i don't drive myself and waiters crazy at restaurants over whats in every little sauce or breading. That's the commitment i made to myself and i can live with that.
