Hi! I'm new to being vegan (been vegetarian before, but now I'm really buckling down). I'm finding it difficult to maintain, since I moved back in with my family and the only other vegan is my sister. We're making it work slowly but surely. At the moment, I'm trying to reconcile recipes that call for cashews, since I'm allergic, but everything else seems to be falling into place. After a gentle mocking at work, I figured I'd try to find a place full of like-minded individuals and stumbled onto the The Kind Life (promptly bought the book the same day). So... I guess that's hello from me! Happy holidays, everyone!
I'm also new to The Kind Life and am working towards being 100% vegan. I too live with a non-veg person and its definitely been tough to adjust my meals around him. I think my biggest challenge will be cutting out dairy and eggs. I've been hesitating on that one. Lol!
I wish you the best and hope to hear more from you as you make your transition! If there are any vegetation/vegan products out there you love I'd especially like some recommendations :)
