Hey Kind Lifers! I'm Chef Christine, a certified plant-based, natural foods chef in Los Angeles. With the New Year coming up, I know a lot of people are starting to think about their resolutions, which often include eating healthy, going vegan, and/or cooking more at home. With that in mind, I want to let you know about a cooking class I'm leading on Sun, Jan 13 in Santa Monica. Here are the details:
Whether you are new to cooking, new to a vegan/plant-based diet, or just want to learn some new recipes, this is the class for you! It also makes a great gift for a loved one!
In this hands-on cooking class, I will provide tips for healthy eating and teach you to prepare dishes using alternative ingredients, as well as some simple staples to get you ready for a healthy new year. Some of the dishes we'll prepare include whole grain sweet potato biscuits and gravy; chickpea salad with raw almond mayo; a basic sauce with variations.
