Hi everyone!

I am wondering what kinds of protein powder (if any) you recommend? I have used Vega in the past but have since switched because it is just too expensive and it upset my stomach. So if anyone has any recommendation I would greatly appreciate your resposnes. Thanks!

I just started using Plant Fusion in Vanilla. At first I didn't like it that much, but now I really like it (and better than Vega, though the only flavor I tried was Berry... bleh!) Plant Fusion is soy and gluten-free, vegan and wayyyy cheaper. Plus, it has 22 grams of protein. The only bummer is it doesn't have all of the vitamins, it's primarily a protein powder (but i believe it has amino acids in it... I'm at the office so I can't double check).

I blend a scoop of the Plant Fusion Vanilla protein powder with 12 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk, a small banana and 1/2 cup frozen pineapple for a yummy breakfast. Let me know if you try it!

One more tip: Whole Foods (at least the larger ones) does sell single-serving packets of a lot of protein powders... that's how I tried the Vega Berry (and I'm SO glad that I used that packet, it was gross). One more tip: once you find one you like, buy it on Amazon.com. I get 2 lb. of Plant Fusion (30 servings) for under $30.

Hope this helps :)
