Abdominal pain went away after eating vegan

Hello! Two years ago I survived Necrotising Fasciitis when I was 7 months pregnant. After the disease, I have experienced a whole host of physical ailments. (Multiple surgeries to repair fistula) but for the last two years, I have had the most excruciating abdominal and back pain. I have had multiple nerve tests (needles stuck into nerves that send electrical shocks into the nerves), MRI scans, ultrasounds, but nobody has been able to diagnose what has been causing my pain. I finally had had enough. I have been an on again off again vegan for 5 years and decided to give up the bad habit of eating the convenient animal products readily available at every turn and start eating food that would make me feel good... After a month of eating vegan, I have not had a single episode of the excruciating abdominal and back pain. I will be meeting with my colorectal surgeon at the beginning of next month for my next surgery so she'll likely be able to shed some light on this new discovery of mine... Which is: my body rejects animal food products. I'll do my best to comment later on with what she says but I just wanted to share the experience and maybe spark some inspiration for someone else put there who may be having similar difficulties.
