Would like to start kind of a vegan/vegetarian support/social group in Los Angeles (Hollywood)

Hi,
I live in Hollywood and just thought it would be nice to meet with co-vegans/vegetarians 2x mo or so to give support, go for a hike, meet for coffee, etc. Most people I am around all day do not have the same feelings about eating meat, etc that I do and sometimes it just is hard and would be nice to meet with others to get support, ideas,suggestions on how to speak with others are cutting down or making fun of vegans, and/or just to meet more people with similar values.
