Hi everyone I need your opinion!

I'm studying to be a holistic health coach and want to get certified in plant based nutrition. I am tying to figure out my ideal client and market myself. If you are interested in plant based diets would you want to hire someone to help you? I think targeting to vegans or even using the word vegan may be too limiting or steer some people away. Do you think it would be better to just incorporate plant based diets instead of outwardly saying so? What old you think if you were wanting a coach? Opinions of me or not yet vegans would be great. Thanks

I think that's a great idea! I'm in the flirting stages right now, so I have a lot of questions and really wish I had a guide or someone to talk to about it. If you are getting certified in plant based nutrition, then why not just put it out there. I think a lot of people are interested in this lifestyle. With a name that attracts vegans or plant based nutrition, then there is no question as to what people would be coming to you for.

I would hire a health coach. I'm actually thinking of becoming one. Although before I became vegan, if I knew someone was all about plant based diets, I might be less likely to go to them. You'd really have to explain the science behind why meat is bad, to convince them. But I think marketing your service as a health coach focusing on whatever aspect of health, like diet/nutrition, you'll do well :) where are your studying?
