Kind Opportunities in San Diego area?

I'm a former employee that worked at several unfulfilling jobs and am currently unemployed. Throughout my job searching expedition I've always attempted to find jobs involved with veganism, animal rights or basically anything related to these movements yet have never had any success in finding them.
Is it simply that these category of jobs are few and far between since the majority of them are volunteer based or operate with small staffing? I've applied to multiple no kill shelters, vegan social media sites and animal rights organizations and have yet to get a job with any of them. At this point in time I've decided to take what I can get but still am keeping a lookout for something in this genre as I believe it would be much more fulfilling to be doing something related to such a noble cause compared to pushing papers for companies that hold no meaning to me.
Please let me know if you are aware of organizations in the San Diego area that are seeking individuals to aid them in a kinder lifestyle.
Hey Daniel!
Have you applied to any farm sanctuary in that area? Do you absolutely need to stay put in San Diego or can you relocate. I know there is a farm sanctuary around here in Sacramento. Don't know if they are hiring but you can always it up.
I usually come here to share my experience with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Have you thought about becoming a health coach? You can do that anywhere :)
I wish you luck on your job search. I recently quit my job to become a full time health coach and I am loving it. Enough with the unfulfilling jobs, I agree.
