Hi Everyone,
My name is April and I am a 40 year old Mom of 2 with a Hubby so technically 3! I am a budding vegan who happens to also be a T2 Diabetic which was the primary reason for my decision to adopt a vegan diet, this decision was made after watching a movie called Forks over Knives which I only watched because one day I was bored at work and Wikipedia'd someone and it lead me to Eliza Dushku's page and it said she became vegan becasue of this movie so I watched it out of curiousity and now here I am! I am educating myself daily and it is becoming an ethical choice now as well, how could it not after watching Earthlings! I’m still in the early stages of veganism so I hope to learn lots on this forum, today I bought Alicia’s book The Kind Diet and I can’t wait until I get home from work to read it!
