Garlic Hummus

This is SO easy and SOO good! I got the recipe from the book, “Quick and Easy Vegan Comfort Food” and altered it slightly.It’s awesome with carrot sticks, sliced zucchini, cucumbers, or other fresh veggies. I recently took it to a party and it was a big hit (just double or triple the recipe for greater quantity).*Note: You don’t cook this. It just made me enter a cook time, so I put in 1 min. :-)

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 12 oz can garbanzo beans
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 3 minced cloves garlic

Directions

  1. Put everything in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
