Pumpkin wedges with sage

easy roasted pumpkin great for a side dish

  • small pumpkin roasted 1 na
  • handful fresh sage 1 na
  • evoo 1 tbsp
  • kosher salt 2 tsp
  • pepper 1 tsp


  1. preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. cut small pumpkin in half scrape out seeds
  3. drizzle evoo over pumpkin
  4. season with 3/4 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper
  5. place cut side down on baking sheet. roast until tender not soft about 30 mins
  6. remove from oven. turn oven to broil
  7. after pumpkin cools a bit cut into wedges; poke fresh sage into flesh.
  8. drizzle witha little more evoo
  9. return to oven to broil for about 6 minutes until sizzling and sage is crisped.
  10. Enjoy!
