Vegan Fudge (Chocolate)

Easy (Vegan) FudgeWhen I was a kid, my mother used to buy 4-minute Fudge — it was in a box from McCain or Sherriff, I do not remember, but it was discontinued about 25 years ago. It had a little plastic cooling tray and a Packet of mixture that you just heated up with milk and poured in the tray. We waited and waited for it to harden and then devoured it.Thinking back to that years ago, I wondered if I could recreate the fudge with the hitch that, it needed to be made with vegan ingredients or it was a no-go. I found some on the internet and began to make it every now and then. YUMMY

Mine just didn’t set! Was it too much liquid, do you think?

Hi, is there any way to make this without the vegan margarine? All of the vegan margarine that I’ve seen contains palm oil and I boycott palm, even so-called “sustainable” palm.

Koyo, you can easily make your own vegan butter/margarine spread using about 5 ingredients. It requires no palm oil. Look up the channel Everyday Dish on Youtube. There is a very easy recipe for vegan butter there. I make their recipe all the time and it comes out wonderful.

I have a healthier RAW recipe for Vegan chocolate fudge of which many variations are available on
    My own version is:
    (250g) – 1 cup dates
    2 table spoons raw cacao
2 table spoons peanut butter or nut butter – whatever flavour you prefer
2 table spoons nut dust (optional)
2 table spoons small raisins (optional)
    1/4 cup coconut oil melted
blend it all together – push the mixture into a flat container and refrigerate for about two hours and there you go. Cut it up into blocks – its divine and guilty free.
(you can also play around with more ingredients and add shredded coconut if you want.

Just made this, barely being able to handle waiting for it to set, yum! It was soooo good while warm. Thanks for the recipe!
