in brazil the acai fruit is eaten in many variations..the acai bowl being one of them. high in antioxidants this combination tastes like dessert! acai roots come pureed and frozen..allow the acai to thaw slightly until the consistency of raw almond butter. additional fruits can be added as well as agave syrup if additional sweetness is preferred. enjoy!!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces acai roots
  • 1/2 sliced banana
  • 3 tablespoons granola
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup (optional)

Directions

  1. whip by hand acai roots in small bowl
  2. add sliced banana and granola on top
  3. drizzle agave syrup if desired
