Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates, chopped
  • 1 cup nuts (walnuts, almonds, cashews etc)
  • 1 tablespoon agave
  • 2 tablespoons organic unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon agave
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons organic unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions

  1. Start with the first 4 ingredients on the list. Blend them all together in a high-speed blender or a food processor. It's fine if the nuts aren't finely ground, the big chunks add a nice texture to the fudge.
  2. Empty the mixture onto a plate and flatten into a square (or a circle or a heart...whatever) about 1/2 inch thick.
  3. Blend the avocado, agave, cinnamon, vanilla and cocoa powder until it's very creamy.
  4. Spread the icing onto the nut-fudge.
  5. Freeze for 1 hour (more is ok, but you may need to defrost before eating).
