Raw Banana Almond Butter Snack

I was looking for a cool snack and came up with this yummy creation!

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana
  • 1 cup RAW almonds
  • 3 tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1/2 cup agave
  • 1/2 cup raw cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut butter, softened

Directions

  1. Add the almonds to your food processor and grind finely.
  2. While the food processor is going slowly add the maple syrup, vanilla and water to for the consistency you want.
  3. Prepare the chocolate gnache: in a small bowl whisk together the agave, cocoa powder and coconut butter.
  4. Line a cooking tray with teflex or wax paper.
  5. Slice 1 or 2 bananas (depending on how large your cooking sheet is) and place individual slices on the non-stick surface.
  6. Top each banana slice with a bit of almond butter.
  7. Drizzle ganache ontop of the almond butter.
  8. Place in the freezer. You can enjoy these within 15 -20 mins. They are great straight from the freezer!
