Mina Dobic & Macrobiotic Counseling
Hey all – I just wanted to give you a couple resources if you are serious about finding a Macrobiotic Counselor. Some of you probably read in The Kind Diet about Mina Dobic, the amazing woman who battled her cancer through a Macrobiotic diet. She is truly inspirational and such a great resource if you are looking for a Macrobiotic Counselor. Her sessions are a bit pricey, but totally worth it if you or any one you know is battling cancer or any other serious illness. Or if you just want to be a superhero without anything serious happening like I did…. she is responsible for guiding me to superhero status. Check out Mina’s website and the book she wrote titled My Beautiful Life.
If you’re looking for a macrobiotic counselor on the East Coast you should check out Lino Stanchich at www.greatlifeglobal.com. There’s a ton of information and resources on his website. Also, if you live near Boston, Warren Kramer is another great macro counselor in that area. Visit his website, or email him with questions.
You can also contact the Kushi Institute to find a counselor near you. Of course, I can’t personally recommend them, but I’m sure it will be a great start.
Also, check out Christina Pirello’s website for her recommendations, depending on where you live.
For those of you who live in New York or New Jersey, I wanted to let you know about some great opportunities this weekend. John Kozinski, a Macrobiotic teacher and health researcher, will be offering lectures and counseling. On December 5th and 6th, you can get counseling and private sessions with him… You can get Macrobiotic Counseling, Ki Accupressure Sessions, Qigong Lessons, and Private Education Sessions. To schedule a session, or just to find out call, you can call 413-623-5925, or go to www.macrobiotic.com.
