Kind Books: My Beef with Meat by Rip Esselstyn

I love a book that is easy to read and is truly informative and My Beef with Meat by Rip Esselstyn is just that. In this followup to his first book, The Engine 2 Diet, Rip talks about the benefits of a plant-based diet and also busts some misconceptions about the vegan lifestyle.

My Beef with Meat

I especially like Rip’s easy-to-understand and conversational writing style. He tackles the subject in such a relatable tone, plus he’s is a cute fireman- what’s not to love?

Whether you are currently following a plant-based diet or are considering the transition, I recommend this book. And it’s a great book for the dudes!

His recipes are delicious. Please be aware that If you are suffering from vascular disease a better choice is a cookbook by his mother and books by his father, Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn, Jr. This author, Rip, likes to include oils which are contraindicated if you have vascular disease.
