My favorite vegan recipe for 2012 was chocolate chip cookies that I made by simply looking up the Toll-House recipe on-line and substituting vegan ingredients. It turned out really well. The first batch was a little crispy, so I baked the rest of them for a minute less time and they were ooey-gooey yumminess! :) -
My favorite new recipe is a simple Vegan Pumpkin Black Bean Soup invented by my friend Ellen. You can find this recipe on the January 8th post at http://veganamericanprincess.com
Can't wait to try Alicia's suggested recipes too! Those smores look good! -
Those naughty flirty cookie dough truffles won, did they, Alicia? Are they French I wonder, all ooh-la-la, coquettish giggles and friskiness, lol! Seriously, Alicia, I like all the ideas here, but the desserts are grabbing my eye in particular. Have a great day, Kind Lifers, and especially Mother Kind Lifer herself, Alicia Silverstone! x -

Seaweed salad is a favorite of mine too. I love simple & it doesn't get much easier then that. Although, I'm going to give the black bean fritters a go! Looks delicious! -
My top recipe of 2012 was my dessert hummus recipe. Who knew that chickpeas, dates, peanut butter, and mini choc chips (I even like it without the chocolate chips) would taste SO GOOD!!! My kids love this recipe.
